Like Facebook, Twitter is grossly underutilized by job hunters for making connections and impressions upon potential employers.
On this show, Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter speaks with Jennifer Armitstead about the ease of using Twitter as a tool and the steps to take to make it an important part of job search.
Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter is a coach who worked as a recruiter for what seems like one hundred years. His work involves life coaching, as well as executive job search coaching and leadership coaching.
JobSearchCoachingHQ.com offers great advice for job hunters—videos, my books and guides to job hunting, podcasts, articles, PLUS a community for you to ask questions of PLUS the ability to ask me questions where I function as your ally with no conflict of interest answering your questions.

Don’t forget to give the show 5 stars and a good review in iTunes

I got off twitter because it is nothing more than a robot-controlled media outlet. Gab.ai and bebee.com is where it’s at now.
LinkedIn.. the dominant job search message I’m seeing now is “I cannot get a job through LI no matter what I try” ( followed by “I’m destitute and overqualified- please help me find a job”).
I find indeed.com to be extremely useful in dragging out the otherwise niche markets and to see where trends are, especially how many 3rd party recruiters are chasing after a req. twitter’s dead

The real uses are probably just to get some sort of vibe on what is going on but I find it to be useless. Too many fake accounts and even LI is full
Of these now. Bebee.com is much much better and allows for branding to happen a la about.me
