I have watched the show a few times and thought about a few things that they are teaching us on each episode. Here are 3.

I mention The Single Best Question You Should Ask on Any Interview. At the beginning of the interview, before you lower your derriere into the seat or at the beginning of the phone interview after they have confirmed they are speaking with the right person, ask, “Thanks for reaching out to me. I reviewed the position description (or spoke with Joe Blow from XYZA Agency about the job) but I wanted to get your take about the . Would you tell me about the position as you see it and what I can do to help.”
