There are many reasons why would jobs are reposted after a good interview. Here, I offer a few alternatives. They’re very logical if you place yourself in the employer’s shoes.

Do you really think employers are trying to help you?

You already know you can’t trust recruiters—they tell you as much as they think you need to know to take the job they after representing so they collect their payday.

The skills needed to find a job are different yet complement the skills needed to do a job.

  1. The company I work at does this all the time..they don’t have a slot but
they can interview. Happens a lot in the winter months when hiring freezes
apply yet managers want to have prospects ready when the freeze lifts.
Often several people are wooed simultaneously. I have seen positions
reclassified as needing a diversity hire. Bottom line – assume any job
opening is yours to apply to but never ever stop looking unless you have a
written offer with a start date, and even then keep going for 2 months –
our division was sold off and a brand new employee had literally 6 hours
notice we would all either be moved by the company or released once the
    deal closed..
