I found out 8 months into a job that i was ‘the next contestant’ in a constant revolving door and the locals were trying their best to make life hell (I didn’t care, I do my job no matter the headwinds). Once I was clued in I lost all respect for the manager and started job hunting. I don’t blame the assholes I worked with but I do blame the managers that completely misrepresented themselves
